Hello and Goodbye

We would like to say a big hello to Isabellarose who joined our Upper Baby room at the end of June. We hope you enjoy your time with us. We also would like to welcome Reana and Damaris who have joined the Bay Tree House staff as Trainees. Reana is based in Upper baby room and Damaris is in Red room. Welcome to the team.

Sadly we are saying goodbye to Henry from our Lower Baby Room. We wish you and your family all the very best and Aaliyah who is leaving to go to school

Our final goodbye is to Andra who will be moving on to pastures new. She has been part of our staff team since September 2016 and will be really missed. Mult noroc pentru viitorul dvs și vă dorim tot ce este mai bun.

Annual Outing

This Year’s Annual outing will be to Battersea Park Zoo on the 6th July.  This is for the children who attend nursery on Fridays. Can you please ensure that if you would like your child to attend this outing, your consent and payment has been returned to us. We will be leaving the nursery at 9am and travelling by coach to Battersea Park Zoo. Your child will need to bring a rucksack containing a change of clothes, raincoat, Sunhat and Sun cream. We will be taking a hot lunch with us and will return by 6pm. If you know your child will not be attending could you please let the nursery know. Nursery will be CLOSED on this day.

Celebrating the diversity within our nursery

Throughout July and August we will be looking at Ghana as our country of interest. The children will learn about the currency used, traditional costumes, what colours are in their flag, different foods that are popular from there and interesting facts. If you are interested in providing any information or would like to come in and cook to help us make this really interesting for the children please speak to your child’s keyworker

Sports Day 2018

Thanks to all the parents who attended our Annual Sports day at Mountsfield Park.  It was a fantastic morning which all the children enjoyed. They had been working really hard practising all the different races for weeks before. Well done to Shantel, Anais’ mum, for winning the mums race and Michael, Angels dad, for winning the dads race.

Graduation

We are fast approaching this year’s Graduation which is on the 20th July. This is for the children who are leaving us to go to Primary School in September. During the ceremony the children will give a dance performance that they have been busy rehearsing with Annie then we will be handing out gifts and certificates.  After the Graduation there will be a short party for the children and the parents.  If your child is leaving to start school we hope you can attend. The time will be from 10-12.

Graduation Pictures

On Friday 13th July we have a photographer coming in to take a group picture of all the children who will be graduating. If your child does not attend Nursery on Fridays you will need to bring them in if you wish for them to be in the picture. If you can speak to your child’s keyworker they will confirm times with you. On the day of Graduation a photographer will be here taking photographs which will be available for you to buy.

General Housekeeping

We have recently been experiencing some glorious sunshine and would like to remind parents to please make sure your child has a sunhat and sun cream at nursery. We have set up the large pool in the garden if you wish to leave swimwear for the children.
